Persian example with rows of ivory and pale blue flowerheads all within dense floral trelliswork on a dark brown field centered by terra cotta spandrels, the ivory main border with polychrome palmettes and vinery. Goravan runner with poled polychrome central latticework and 5 hexagonal aligned medallions within a gold-brown border or scrolling flowerheads. SIZE: Persian 5’5″ x 4′. Goravan 13’2″ x 2’5″. PROVENANCE: Estate of William Hoeschle of Belfast, Maine. CONDITION: Both with even wear overall. 9-96580, 9-96581 (800-1,200)
