NORTHWEST PERSIAN RUG AND GORAVAN ORIENTAL RUNNER. 20th Century. Persian example with rows of ivory and pale blue flowerheads all within dense floral trelliswork on a dark brown field centered by terra cotta spandrels, the ivory main border with polychrome palmettes and vinery. Goravan runner with poled polychrome central latticework and 5 hexagonal aligned medallions within a gold-brown border or scrolling flowerheads. SIZE: Persian 5’5″ x 4′. Goravan 13’2″ x 2’5″.
