RARE CALIFORNIA BUTCHER KNIFE. 10-1/2” single edge blade, 2-5/8” wide at the guard. The guard is integral with the blade. Iron collar. Blackened wood handle. Marked “J. G?????E / S. FRANCISCO” on the left side of the blade. CONDITION: Moderate pitting overall. Blade appears to have been reblued. Hilt has several cracks at the collar and one at the pommel. 4-59191 FS791 (1,000-1,500)
