FRAMED PRESSED CARDBOARD CALENDAR. Fancy pressed cardboard picture is 23” high x 18” wide. Diamond shaped top has an Indian in war bonnet holding a rearing horse. Color remains in the Indian’s headdress and breastplate and shoes, the horse’s hooves and reins. Rest has faded to white or tan. Bottom, framed in tree branches and leaves has the advertising of a dealer in horse equipment from Windom, KS. Dark green calendar, of which only the November, 1909 page remains, is attached to the bottom. It is framed in a solid wood frame with a light brown backing. CONDITION: Minor cracking in the lower tree branch and flowers. Mostly good except for the fading. Wood frame is scuffed and beginning to separate and could easily be repaired. 4-55117 FS250 (150-250)
