18KT GOLD FRENCH POCKET WATCH. Lovely French hunting case key wind pocket watch features and 18kt yellow gold case with center cartouche engraved with hunting scene showing hunting dog and galloping horse. Horse is missing its rider. Backside of the watch is engraved with a floral center cartouche with stylized leaves engraved on the outer border. Watch is marked on inside of case “18K” and is also marked “Echappement A Cylindre Quatre Trous En Pierre”. Watch is accompanied by a gold filled slide chain and engraved gold filled powder horn shaped key with a white stone end. SIZE: Watch is 1-7/8″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some light corrosion to inside of cover. 9-23153 (2,000-3,000)
