BLAIKIE HINES (American, 1949) “DAWN ALONG THE SOUND”. Oil on masonite scene shows the coast of Maine with small waves crashing onto beach with large rock ledge. A single sail is seen heading right to left towards the setting sun which casts wonderful hues on the cloud and blue sky. Signed low left. Housed in an antique gilt and stained wood frame with artist plaque. SIZE: 16″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-93008 (2,500-4,000)
