WESTERN AMMUNITION COMPANY 1930 CALENDAR. Overall size is 27-1/2″ high x 13-1/2″ wide with a 17-1/2″ x 13-1/2″ image size of an old hunter in a birch bark canoe holding a Winchester ’86 carbine with an Indian in the back floating down a stream with the forest in the background. It is titled “THE VETERAN” and is signed “P.B. Parsons”. Bottom 1/3 is a chocolate brown background with the manufacturer’s information and sports the March thru December calendar sheets. Shrink wrapped on foam board. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Top band is present and it does not appear to have had a bottom band. Colors are vivid & bright with a couple of small holes near the top, not affecting the overall appearance. A seldom encountered calendar. 4-57003 JR729 (500-800)
