PAIR OF FRENCH CUT CRYSTAL SWEETMEATS WITH UNDERTRAYS. 2nd half 19th century. Each deep oval dish with conforming lid mounted with a silver grape cluster, one with hallmarks “VK” with crescent moon and profile of Mercury. Both with scalloped conforming undertrays. Both examples with polished beveled edges and faceted. SIZE: 3-3/4″ h overall, 8-1/2″ l overall x 6-3/4″ w overall. CONDITION: Each bowl with fleabites on rim, lids each with fleabite. One undertray with chip, one with fleabite. Otherwise very good. 9-96509 (400-600)
