OUTSTANDING KPM PLAQUE OF A WINE TASTER. The scene depicting a Monk holding a half filled stem of wine in one hand and a glass siphoning tube in the other. He holds the glass to the light looking at the color and clarity. His elbow rests on a wine keg titled “Th. Kalterer Seewein”. The back have impressed marks “KPM” with a scepter, “195” and “255”, “S” and “W”. Also an illegible title or artist name on back label. Housed in what appears to be its original fancy gilt frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 9-3/4″ x 7-1/2″. CONDITION: Small area of light scratches in upper left corner, otherwise very good. 9-23478 (4,000-6,000)
