SPECTACULAR 1911/12 DUPONT ADVERTISING POSTER. Fine early multicolored poster by H.Y.S. Watson, 20 5/8” tall by 17 1/2” wide with top half occupied with a turn of the century trap shooting scene with a lady and two gentlemen on the 19 yard line. There are other ladies and gentlemen in the background waiting their turn to shoot. In the far background is a large colonial style home or clubhouse. The bottom half is occupied with the large Dupont logo and advertising. CONDITION: Very fine. Both bands are present with some slight foxing at both ends. Paper is slightly yellowed and it is dark near the top edges. Image is crisp and clear with bright vivid colors. 4-55200 JR (3,500-4,500)
