RENAISSANCE REVIVAL CARVED OAK GRIFFIN CONFERENCE TABLE. Late 19th century early 20th century, attributed to workshop of R.J. Horner. The rectangular quartersawn top with rounded edges above a conforming frieze, each long side fitted with a pair of aligned drawers. The base of two quatersawn columns joined to a heavy Y-form trestle base. Each corner mounted with a full-bodied carved seated griffin. SIZE: 29″ h x 95″ l x 42″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine Massachusetts home. CONDITION: With refinished light oak surfaces, now dry in need of repolishing. Structurally very good. 9-22113 (1,000-1,500)
