FINE NOBEL’S SHOT SHELL CARTRIDGE BOARD. This beautiful early board is mounted in its orig deep shadow box picture frame, 28-3/4″ high x 19-3/4″ wide, vertical mount, outside dimensions. It contains an arrowhead shaped plaque of green velvet mounted with about 46 paper shot shells & shot shell case heads with one paper lined brass shot shell apparently representing their entire line. Plaque is surmounted with “NOBEL’S / SPORTING CARTRIDGES” and has “GLASGOW & LONDON” at the bottom, all in gold lettering. Frame has an inner narrow frame of silver colored gesso. CONDITION: Paper cartridges are slightly faded but completely intact with bright brass. Lettering is clean & bright and the frame is sound with nicks & scratches & a few small dings on the edges. 4-57009 (4,500-6,500)
