CURRIER & IVES PRINT OF GENERAL JOSEPH HOOKER. Color litho, with 12” x 8-1/2” vertical image of Gen. Hooker in uniform on his white horse, without hat, pointing his sword with cavalry and artillery in the background. It is entitled “Major-Genl. Joseph Hooker” and is signed “Published by Currier & Ives, 152 Nassau Street, New York”. CONDITION: Framed in an identical frame to the one of General Franz Sigel also in this auction. The print is slightly yellowed, the frame has separated corners, crackled finish with a couple of dings. 4-48723 JR782 (225-350)
