WINCHESTER 1902 DBL “W” CARTRIDGE BOARD LITHO. In its orig oak frame which measures 57-1/4″ wide x 39-7/8″ high, outside dimensions, with gold gesso inner frame. This great lithograph is one of a few produced in 1902 for distribution to Winchester dealers. It has a grand total of 235 items with a center vignette of two hunters with one sitting on a log & two Winchester rifles propped nearby with a dead bear in the foreground. Left side has a flying mallard & the right side has a moose head. There is a large red “WINCHESTER” at the top with other small red & white lettering, all on dark green background printed on Masonite. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Vignettes & red lettering are slightly faded & it has a few scrapes in various places. It appears to be covered with a light smoky residue. Bottom left corner of the frame is slightly opened which has allowed the image to slip in the frame and caused a slight amount of damage along the top edge which will not affect the images once the frame is restored. Oak frame, again, has a light smoky residue with a few nicks & scratches and a scrape along the lower right corner. 4-56851 JR717 (6,000-10,000)
