EARLY BALLARD RIFLE COMPLETE BBLD ACTION. Cal. 44 RF. SN 13080. Standard early rifle with 30-3/8″ oct bbl, fixed sights with homemade brass rear sight, missing the buttstock. Receiver has the early manual extractor and its markings are virtually worn away. Forearm is possibly homemade. CONDITION: Fair. Mottled brown patina with light surface rust & pitting.
