FRENCH FOUR PIECE PAINT DECORATED WROUGHT IRON GARDEN SUITE. First quarter 20th century. Set includes a three-seat sofa, two armchairs and round table. The chairs and sofa have a round chair back with scroll design accented with red fleur-de-lis and green scrolls. The side arms in wheel type round form have red cornucopia with trailing red, green and yellow flowers. It is fitted for upholstery: backs, seats and arm rests. The table is of round form with three cabriole legs, central three-part stretcher with center spray of colorful flowers. Suite is offered with foam cushions. SIZE: Sofa is 42-1/2” h x 74-1/2” w x 26” d. Chairs are 43” h x 24-1/2” d x 27” w. Table is 19” h x top size 21-1/2” dia. PROVENANCE: An Ulster County, New York Mansion. CONDITION: Appears to be original paint with some wear, some floral decoration in need of reattachment, generally very good. 9-23149 (2,000-4,000)
