CAST IRON CAILLE “REGISTER” TRADE STIMULATOR. As rare as hen’s teeth this diminutive trade stimulator rarely surfaces or comes to the market. In original plating this highly ornate machine is similar in nature to the Caille Puritan. The concept being a nickel is deposited, handle activated and the three numbered reels spin and rewards would be paid by proprietor upon certain number values indicated on the three reels. To the left and right of numbered reels are two smaller windows that would have contained “counters”. These have been eliminated and closed off most likely by the original operator of this gambling machine. The machine itself being cast iron is affixed to a wooden base (refinished/replaced) with a cash drawer contained within. SIZE: 8″ w x 7″ d x 10″ h. CONDITION: Award paper is older replacement. Machine has replacement rear door which most likely should have been cast iron, not wood. 1-8214 JL (5,000-6,000)
