AMERICAN CAST IRON GARDEN SETTEE IN LAUREL PATTERN. Second half 19th century. This fine example of Antique garden furniture with rounded back comprised of repeating panels of cast laurel leaves within twigwork frames continuing to downswept arms terminating in winged Griffin supports centering a semi-circular seat cast with scrolling vinery. SIZE: 33″ h x 45-1/2″ w x 31″ d. CONDITION: Structurally very good with no rust or oxidation. Retaining early, if not original, painted surfaces. 9-22710 (2,000-4,000)
