RARE “NOVELTY MERCHANTMAN” CLAW DIGGER ARCADE MACHINE. 1st half 20th century. “The Novelty Merchantman ” an art deco style arcade digger, coin operated and manufactured by Exhibit Supply Company, Chicago. This walnut cased model stamped with the serial number “M2004”. The face plate marked with multiple patent numbers. The motor and mechanism, accessed from side door, appears original and with original paper label affixed in interior. SIZE: 67-1/2″ h x 21-3/4″ w x 19″ d. PROVENANCE: From a Massachusetts Collection. CONDITION: Original beveled glass. Overall very good. Mechanisms appear to be in working order. 9-22337 (3,500-5,500)
