FINE LAMSON BOWIE KNIFE. NSN. 8-3/4” blade with 3” false edge. Marked “LAMSONS & CO. / S.FALLS WORKS” on the left ricasso. Iron crossguard and collar. Checkered blackened wood hilt with rivet at the pommel. In orig leather covered paper scabbard with small belt loop. CONDITION: Fine. Metal has been cleaned with a few spots of rust towards the tip remaining. Hilt shows only slight wear. Scabbard is bent at the tip, has a short split at the throat and has minor scuffing overall. 4-58189 (8,500-10,500)
