RARE DLX WINCHESTER HIGH WALL SGL SHOT TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. SN 46225. Very rare high wall with 30″ oct to rnd #3 weight bbl with windage adjustable globe front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight & rare windage adjustable mid-range Vernier tang sight. Wood is very highly figured, 3-4X American walnut with black insert semi-Schnable tipped “H” style checkered forearm & black insert pistol grip stock with heavy cheek piece & brass Swiss buttplate, 14-1/8″ LOP. It has sgl-set trigger. The entire rifle has a heavy coating of old dried oil or wax. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbl retains 96-97% strong bright orig blue. Receiver retains virtually all of its orig case colors, slightly faded on the bottom, brilliant elsewhere. Wood is sound with a series of small dings on the buttstock, otherwise retains most of its orig varnish with some slight staining around the wrist.
