KEY WOUND CALCULAGRAPH TIMER. Circa 1930. A rare non-electric example by the Calculagraph Company of New York. This cylindrical timer/clock used to measure the duration of events between a start and finish point. It was most commonly used in billiard or pool parlors and later to measure duration of toll phone calls. This example with silvered dial with Arabic chapter rings for minutes and hours. The cylindrical case mounted with two vertical handles for marking start and stop times. Case marked with serial number “10943”. Additionally mounted with plaque “AUTOMATIC RIBBON REVERSE”. SIZE: 9″ h x 9-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Appears to be in good condition overall. Not opened for inspection of mechanisms. Surfaces appear original. 9-21901 (500-1,000)
