CARL CILIAX (American, 20th/21st Century) “RASCAL”. Bronze figure of a standing horse outfitted with saddle and accessories. The head is turned to the right and the tail downsweeping. Greenish/brown patina. Inscribed on the base is the artist’s monogram and “3/15”. Mounted to a molded edge oval walnut plinth with brass plaque. Ciliax, a western native, known for his realistic sculpture of western motifs and animals. SIZE: 12″ h x 13″ l. Overall with base 14″ h x 14″ l. PROVENANCE: From a private New Hampshire collector.
