RARE JULIEN LEROY FRENCH TWO-FACE SWINGING CEILING CLOCK. Mid 19th Century. This two-sided example is designed to be suspended on a brass ceiling mount. The clock, suspended on a 9-rod compensating pendulum with alternating silvered and brass elements, swings as one. The enameled dials each with Roman numeral chapter rings, one dial with sweep second hand. The eight-day movement with pinwheel escapement.
