ANSONIA TERRY’S PATENT CALENDAR CLOCK. 2nd half 19th century. Ansonia, Connecticut. The round dial with Arabic calendar ring centering a Roman numeral chapter ring above a month of the year aperture all within a half-round molded frame. The rosewood box case with hinged door and eglomise panel with pendulum window. The case interior retains original paper label. With an eight-day spring wound strike and time movement. Clock is offered with pendulum. SIZE: 26″ h x 16″ w x 4-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Case has been re-polished with probable removal of rosewood veneer to round door.
