*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SPECIAL ORDER TAKEDOWN RIFLE FROM THE COLLECTION OF TOM SELLECK. Cal. 32 Spcl. SN 285900. Mr. Selleck has decided to thin down his collection by selling off some surplus and duplicate items. This rifle is surplus to his collection and has a 26″ oct bbl, half magazine, half-nickel front sight with screw and the orig smokeless rear sight. It has nicely figured, uncheckered, straight grain American walnut wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. Accompanied by an 8×10 color photograph of Mr. Selleck in his character of Paul Cable from the movie, Last Stand at Saber River. CONDITION: Fine plus. Bbl retains 92-94% strong orig blue with edge wear and light muzzle wear. There are a couple of small dings on the left upper flat. Receiver retains 75-80% strong orig blue, primarily on the sides, with the balance silver/brown patina. Takedown ring retains about 50% orig blue. Wood is sound with usual handling nicks, dings & scratches, a couple of small gouges & scratches, along with a light bruise on the forearm.
