ENGLISH CARVED FIGURAL PAGE TURNER OF A GREYHOUND. Late 19th century. Carved of beech, this nice example carved in the likeness of a greyhound with brown glass eyes and a spring-loaded pivoting lower jaw opening to a red-lined mouth with teeth, wearing a red collar continuing to the shaped flaring blade.
