WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 44 RF Henry. SN 119490. Standard carbine with 20″ rnd bbl, full magazine, integral front sight & bbl band with 2-position flip rear sight. Receiver has a staple & ring in the left side and it has straight grain walnut, uncheckered wood with straight stock and steel carbine buttplate with trap. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl & magazine tube retain a mottled/silver brown patina with scattered rust pitting. Receiver shows moderate wear with some hammer marks on the right sideplate at the lever screw. Wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Mechanics are fine, strong bore with scattered light to moderate pitting. Roger & Gerald Wilde Collection 4-55354 JR231 (3,000-5,000)
