BLACK FOREST STYLE TROPHY WALL CLOCK. Second half of the 19th Century, Austrian. The shaped pine case containing unmarked brass works, the gong marked “F. KUNZ IN WIEN” (Vienna). The round walnut dial with time and strike apertures, the chapter-ring composed of white enamel cartouches, each with indigo enameled Roman Numeral. The wood case applied with an arrangement of antlers, tusks and oak leaves with acorns, surmounted by a cast ram’s head set with glass eyes. SIZE: 33-1/2″ h x 23-1/4″ w. CONDITION: Cast elements with slight damages and age cracks. Antlers and tusks overall good, one tusk with small damage to tip. The brass works in need of restoration. 9-97745 (700-900)
