19TH CENTURY GILT BRONZE CLASSICAL CLOCK ON MARQUETRY BASE. The dial marked, “CHAUVEL A NANTES”. Ornamented with gilt ornate base, sprigs of flowers and surmounted by young maid. The clock rests on an oval marquetry base ornamented with flowers and peacocks (at one time had a glass dome). SIZE: Base 13-1/2″ dia, clock 15″h. CONDITION: Unknown working order, complete with pendulum. Generally very good condition. 9-97637 (750-1,250)
