LOUIS XV STYLE THREE PIECE CLOCK SET FOR TIFFANY & CO. Late 19th, early 20th century. The porcelain paint decorated clock case of Bombe form with cast-bronze scrolled decoration. The enamel dial marked “Tiffany & Co./New-York/Paris” within a seconds and Arabic numeral chapter ring and a time only aperture. The brass works engraved with the makers initials “LF” within an oval, and the serial number “12764”, also stamped “MADE IN FRANCE”. Accompanied by a pair of two-light garnitures with S-scrolled candle arms, similarly decorated. SIZE: Height of Clock 15 3/4″; Height of Garniture 9 1/2″ PROVENANCE: Estate of Dr. Lee W. Richards Jr. of Augusta, Maine. Obstetrician & Augusta’s first specialist. CONDITION: One garniture with repair to porcelain at foot, otherwise very good overall. 9-97673 (1,500-2,500)
