JEAN-LOUIS GREGOIRE (FRENCH 1840-1890), TWO WINGED CHERUBS WITH ARROWS. Cast figural bronze depicting two winged boys, one kneeling and one standing before a tree stump, each examining an arrow. On a rocky plinth mounted on a conforming oval naturalistic base, inscribed “L. GREGOIRE” beneath the standing figure. SIZE: 12-1/2″ overall h. Figure: 11-1/2″ h. x 8-1/4 w. CONDITION: With good gold patina. Chip on marble base, small screw protruding from proper right side of torso of standing figure, indicates absence of an element.
