SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR SHOTGUN. SN 1299. Cal. 20 ga. 26” rnd bbl. Dated 1881 on the breechblock. “SWP / 1885” cartouche on the left side of the stock. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina with moderate pitting on the buttplate. Stock has numerous dents and scratches along with vise marks on both sides of the butt.
