LOT OF THREE COLT MODEL 1877 DA REVOLVERS. (1) Sheriff’s Model. Cal. 41 Colt. SN 33298. Nickel finish, 3-1/2″ bbl, with etched panel & hard rubber bird head grips. CONDITION: Fine plus. Overall retains about 90% strong orig nickel with some flaking around the muzzle & forcing cone areas. Etched panel is sharp. Cylinder has some light bubbling around the flutes with some additional flaking on the back strap. Back edge of the hammer retains most of its orig niter blue. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bore with some scattered pitting. (2) Standard model. Cal. 41 Colt. SN 30633. Blue & case colored, 6″ bbl, with etched panel & modified half moon front sight. It has checkered 1-pc walnut grip. CONDITION: Good to very good. Traces of orig finish remain, being stronger on the trigger guard & top of the back strap with the balance a gray patina. Etched panel is completely visible. Mechanics need attention, the cylinder stop will not release. Grips show heavy wear. Strong dark bore. (3) Sheriff’s Model. Cal. 38 Colt. SN 26756. 2-1/2″ bbl with nickel finish & hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Good to very good, as refinished. Most of the frame markings were obliterated. Mechanics are fine, worn grips, strong bore with pitting. 4-55148 JR364 (1,750-2,750)
