REMINGTON MODEL 1890 SGL ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 190. Blue finish with 7-1/2″ bbl, German silver front sight blade with Remington logo embossed hard rubber grips and a lanyard loop in the butt. It has standard bbl marking & caliber marking on the left side of the frame. CONDITION: Very good plus. Retains traces of orig blue in the very sheltered areas being mostly a mottled dark brown patina with some pitting around the muzzle & forcing cone areas. Left side of the ejector rod web also has some moderate pitting. Hammer retains about 50% dark case colors. Grips show heavy wear but are sound, turned to chocolate. Mechanics are fine, strong bore with moderate to heavy pitting. 4-57417 JR629 (3,000-5,000)
