ETIENNE MAXANT CLASSICAL THREE PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE SET. Fourth quarter 19th century. The neo-classical bronze and champleve enameled clock with stylized engaged Corinthian columns. Enamel decorated overall with deep indigo and terracotta panels of scrolling vinery, floral filled urns and winged griffins. The bronze dial with enameled Roman numerals, the brass time and strike 8-day movement stamped “ETIENNE MAXANT BREVETE, PARIS”. Accompanied by a pair of urn form garnitures all on stepped plinths with suppressed ball feet.
