EARLY COLT CAVALRY MODEL SGL ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. SN 16392. Standard Cavalry Colt with 7-1/2″ bbl, slanted letter address, fixed sights, a small “US” on the left side of the frame and 1-pc wood grip. Bbl, trigger guard & back strap all have the small “L” (Samuel B. Lewis) sub-inspector mark while the cylinder, which is numbered “6844” has a small “C” sub-inspector mark (A.P. Casey). It also has the orig, first type, ejector rod housing with bull’s eye ejector rod head. CONDITION: Very good to fine. All matching except the cylinder. Cylinder is numbered “6844”.
