*BELGIUM BROWNING GRADE I 22 AUTO WITH CASE. SN 72T69986. Cal. 22LR. 19-1/2″ round bbl. Dovetailed gold bead front sight, adjustable flip up rear sight. Left side of bbl is marked “Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q./Made in Belgium”. Right side “Cal .22 LONG RIFLE/BROWNING PATENTS”. The bbl markings are filled with Bonanza gold and has two factory drilled and tapped holes on either side of rear sight for factory scope mount. Blue receiver has standard engraving with zigzag border and open foliate scroll on both sides. Like bbl markings, scroll is filled with Bonanza gold. Mounted with interesting straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, oval loading port on right side, standard forend with multi-point checkering. Accompanied with a Browning tan luggage case with fuzzy white interior. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun has seen very little use retaining virtually all of its original factory finish with stock having a couple of small handling marks. Mechanics are crisp with a bright shiny bore. 9-21212 (400-700)
