CONTINENTAL DRESDEN TYPE PORCELAIN DRESSING MIRROR. Late 20th century. The rectangular mirror within a paint decorated frame applied with floral sprays and crested with a female bust. Swiveling on a trestle form frame, the turned supports headed by cherub finials joined by a baluster-turned stretcher with a seated semi-nude figure. The scrolled trestle base mounted with seated cherubs. The whole paint decorated in pastels with gilt decorated accents. SIZE: Ht 28 1/2″ L 18″ D 12 1/2″ CONDITION: Paint,enamelwork and gilding all very good with losses to several flower petals. Otherwise very good with no restoration noted. 9-97398 (750-1,750)
