*COLT SAUER BOLT ACTION RIFLE. SN CR2768. Cal. 25-06. 24″ round tapered bbl made without sights. Top of bbl is marked “Colt’s Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co., Hartford, CT. U.S.A.”. Left side at chamber “Cal. 25-06 REM.”. Standard receiver, center left side marked “COLT SAUER-SPORTING RIFLE” with rampant Colt insignia in front and Sauer insignia behind. Topped with scope mount & rings housing Leopold Vari-X-III 3.5 x10 with duplex. Mounted with fiddleback walnut contrasting forend tip and grip cap with white line spacer, checkered side panel on forend, checkered pistol grip, Monte Carlo with left side cheek piece, Colt Sauer black vented recoil pad. Accompanied with tan basket weave adjustable leather sling. One factory magazine. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extremely fine, appears test fired only retaining virtually all of its factory original finish with a few minor handling marks.
