*COLT SGL ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. SN 349626. Blue & case colored with 7-1/2″ bbl, standard markings with 2-line patent dates. It has rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Right side of the front & backstraps are marked with the serial number under the grip and the back of the cylinder has the last two digits of the serial number between two of the chambers. It is accompanied by a modern Colt blue 2-pc box and a Colt factory letter fully identifying this revolver as having been shipped Sept. 16, 1993 to Hawn’s Gunsmithing, Rte. 2, Box 1141, Silsbee, Texas. Under remarks the letter states that the orig records for this revolver were lost or destroyed. The current records indicate that it was returned on May 13, 1993 for refinishing and was subsequently re-shipped as noted. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. All matching except the grips which are numbered “3853”. Retains virtually all of its bright orig factor finish. Blue is very fine & bright and the case colors are brilliant. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. Grips show moderate to heavy wear with an internal crack in the left side. Box is fine. 4-57103 JR563 (3,000-6,000)
