EXTRAORDINARY SET OF THREE RABBIT CANDY CONTAINERS. Circa early 1900s. An amazing find with Uncle Sam, Teddy Roosevelt, and John Bull astride running rabbit Papier Mache figures!! In virtually unplayed with near mint condition, these incredible candy containers show only modest wear from age and shelf display. Intricately detailed and painted, the rabbits with inset glass eyes and red reins (John Bull lacking reins) & the lifelike political figures are equally detailed. Teddy Roosevelt in charging mode with his right fist raised and grasping a tin sword (quite possibly original). A rare opportunity to acquire such an unusual and unique collection. SIZE: 6″ length x 6″ height. CONDITION: Teddy Roosevelt has an aged repair to right arm which has been reglued with brown hide glue.
