NEMIROV-KOLODKIN SILVER TEAPOT. Russian, 1896. This example in a flared cylindrical form with hinged domed tiered lid with knop finial with scrolling spout and S-scrolled handle on a flared foot. Decorated overall with Gothic chasing. Modeled with beaded bands. Marked beneath the base with maker’s name and date (see photo). The interior of the pot with gold gilt finish. 24 Troy Ounces. SIZE: Ht 6 1/2″ CONDITION: Very good original condition with no dents or scratches. No restoration noted. 9-97077 (1,200-1,600)
