*BELGIUM BROWNING GRADE 3 .22 AUTO. SN 71T59075. Cal. 22 LR. 19-1/2″ round bbl with dovetail gold bead front sight, flip up rear sight. Left side of bbl marked “Browning Arms Company, Morgan, Utah & Montreal, P.Q./Made in Belgium”. Right side “Caliber .22 long rifle /Browning Patents”. The French grey receiver is engraved in standard grade 3 pattern, left side with setter and three pheasant in wooded scene surrounded by bold foliate scroll with shaded background. Right side has setter and three ducks surrounded by bold foliate scroll and shaded background. Top has vignette of portrait of setters head with duck in mouth surrounded by bold foliate scroll. This fine factory engraving is signed center of left side “L. Lambert”. Mounted with nicely figured flame grain walnut, diamond skip line checkered pistol grip, serrated steel buttplate and diamond skip line checkered forend. Accompanied with Browning dark brown takedown luggage case with dark fuzzy interior, owners’ manual and a can of Browning ultra fine gun oil. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun appears to be test fired only. Retains virtually all its factory finish with a few minor handling marks.
