*AUTO ORDINANCE SEMI-AUTO THOMPSON CARBINE. SN 5936. Cal. 45. 18-1/2″ tapered round bbl with muzzle break, tall post front sight, first 7-1/2″ from chamber with finned heat sync. Standard 1927 A1 receiver marked on left side “THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE/CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE”. Top of receiver equipped with adjustable flip up ladder sight and marked in front of it with Thompson’s bullet trademark. Right side marked “AUTO-ORDINANCE CORPORATION/WEST HURLEY, NEW YORK, U.S.A.”. Mounted with straight grain walnut buttstock, finger groove pistol grip and fluted forend. Equipped with fixed sling swivels. Accompanied with one stick magazine and one L 50rd drum. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun appears to have seen very little use. Retaining most of its original factory finish with some minor handling marks and thinning on top of receiver at slot from operating handle. Mechanics are crisp with a nice shiny bore.
