FINE VICTORIAN CARVED MAHOGANY POLE SCREEN. Circa 1860. The rectangular molded frame with scrolled pierced crest, containing a fine floral needle-and-beadwork panel mounted on a mahogany pole with carved urn finial, with adjustable brass mounts, above the bulbous carved standard, raised on acanthus- and floral-carved tripod cabriole legs with scrolled pad feet, raised on original porcelain and brass casters. SIZE: 2″ overall h. Screen: 25″ x 21″ overall. CONDITION: Very fine original condition, with split at base of pedestal. Good color and patina. 9-97733 (800-1,200)
