*COLT SGL ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 327354. Blue & case colored, 7-1/2″ bbl, fixed sights and fleur-de-lis checkered medallion walnut grips. Accompanied by a Colt Factory letter identifying this revolver, type of grip not listed. It indicates shipment September 24, 1913 to Witte Hardware Co., St. Louis, MO. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & ejector rod housing retain 96-97% glossy orig blue with minor muzzle & edge wear. Grip frame retains 75-80% orig blue, thin on the front & back straps, glossy & bright elsewhere. Cylinder retains 50-60% thin orig blue, strong in the flutes. Frame retains 75-80% case colors, brilliant in the sheltered areas, fading to a mottled silver elsewhere. Hammer retains most of its orig faded case colors. Grips are fine, possibly re-cut a long time ago. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-57018 JR406 (4,000-7,000)
