PETITE SONNERIE REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK. Second half 19th century. Rectangular brass case with beveled glass panels on a molded plinth with bracket feet, fitted with a brass carrying handle. The brass works with the serial number 2680 with an enameled dial, the chapter rings with Arabic and Roman numerals above a secondary alarm dial. The works with two drums and three hammers. Quarter-hour repeater with selection switch. SIZE: 5″ h of case x 3-3/4″ w x 3-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Structurally sound. The movement appears clean. The beveled glass rear door with small chip at corner of glass. Otherwise good. 9-95808 (1,000-1,500)
