CARTWRIGHT HOME SAFE. First quarter 20th century. Small example in black enamel with maroon cartouches. Interior of door retains original decal of maker, “JACOB CARTWRIGHT & SON, WEST BROMWICH, ENGLAND”. Exterior of door mounted with brass name plaque of maker. In addition, small shield shaped plaque engraved “IMPROVED INVIOLABLE LOCK”. Name plate slides to reveal key hole. Main door currently unlocked. Interior fitted with removable wood shelves above a steel valuables drawer. SIZE: 26″ h x 18″ w x 18″ d overall. CONDITION: Structurally very good.
