CARVED AND POLYCHROME PAINTED TOBACCONIST FIGURE OF NATIVE AMERICAN CHIEF. Late 20th century. Carved in pine from the solid, depicting the figure in full feathered headdress looking to the horizon while holding bundle of cigars in his left hand, posed on a rock work plinth. SIZE: 74″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall with original painted surfaces. Vertical shrinkage crack on back of tunic. 9-21178 (800-1,200)
