MID-VICTORIAN CARVED WALNUT MARBLE TOP COMMODE. Third quarter 19th century. The 3/4 white marble splash guard with molded edges joined to the rectangular marble top above a conforming cabinet fitted with a single drawer over a pair of cupboard doors. The case sides with molded panels on a molded plinth. SIZE: 40″ h overall x 32″ w x 17″ d. CONDITION: Commode has been professionally stripped and repolished. Marble top original. Proper left door with cracks. Remnants of old paint remain. 9-21197 (300-500)
